FOOD TECH REFLECTIONS

This term we've done heaps of cooking planning and cleaning overall we've made Weet-Bix slice muffins, cupcakes, cake, cookies and mac and cheese.

WEEK 1:
week one we came in feeling good we were supposed to be cleaning but ended up cooking, we started with the Weet-Bix slice which was a simple easy desert.

WEEK 2:
week 2 we cleaned took everything out of the draws and  cupboards and washed everything.

WEEK 3:
we made muffins with chocolate icing

WEEK 4:
week 4 we started our party plan our theme was bumblebee yellow and black

WEEK 5:
mac and cheese  (wasn't here)

WEEK 6:
more work on our fty party plan

WEEK 7:
week 7 we made our cakes which didn't go well we added to much oil to the mixture and it went jiggly

WEEK 8:
yesterday we did peanut butter cookies which were alright

Overall fty was a good experience but i wouldn't take it in the future because i don't need it for the career im going into...

How do i feel about how my Yr 10 maths has started?

I feel like the start to my year has been OK work wise but self management has not been the best already. i would like to work on my self management and getting all my work done. 

What work have i been learning and understand?

i learnt about metric units

what work do i still need to improve on?

i still need to improve on my timesing decimals

i think this is a good idea because personally videos really help me.
A video's that i found helpful was the songs describing what we are working on.

Today we have been working more on multiplying and dividing integers.
at the start of the lesson i held myself back for not having a pen but i found one got on with my work finished it and got them right. On this topic i think i'm better at adding and subtracting in my opinion.
i think i'm doing OK but could do way better and to help that i will bring a pen.

Today i have more understanding about how to add and subtract positive and negative integers i'm doing good but can improve in my next class.
for eg. i wasent sure of how to do 14-(-4)
working out: 14-(-4)=14+4=18

In our class we have been learning about probability. It at first was a little bit of a
challenge but towards the end it got much easier. some key words that pop or come to my head when i think of probability are possible outcomes,impossible,certain,likely,and unlikely.
